Surely we have a lot of time to choose which case, which strap and which colours will have our Apple Watch. Let’s start first of all with the two cases. The Apple Watch will be available in two different sizes, one 38mm which is generally used by women and the dimensions to be precise are 38.6mm in height, 33.3 in width and 10.5mm in depth.

The largest case is 42mm and is generally used by men, again the exact measurements are 32mm in height, 45.9mm in width and 10.5mm in depth.

We have various sizes of the Apple watch bands based on the average size of the wrist of men and women which are respectively between 140mm and 175mm for women and between 165mm and 195mm for men. Having said that, below is the analysis for each strap.

Let’s start with the Modern Buckle strap, which is only compatible with the 38mm case and is available in three different sizes. The Small version fits on wrists with a circumference ranging between 135mm and 150mm, so ideal for women with a very small wrist. The Medium version for wrists with a circumference between 145mm to 165mm is excellent for women with a medium wrist and finally the Large size for wrists with a size ranging between 160mm and 180mm, useful for both women with large wrists and men with a small wrist.

Now it’s the turn of the Leather strap, compatible only with the 42mm case, available in two sizes. The Medium version for wrists ranging from 150mm to 185mm and is very versatile as it can fit a medium-large female wrist as well as a small-medium male wrist. Finally the Large size, for wrists ranging from 180mm to 210mm and useful for all men who may have a large wrist. There are many variants of Leather apple watch bands available for Apple Watch users that can be purchased online and offline.

The Milanese mesh strap, compatible with both cases, is available in two sizes, one for the 38mm case and one for the 42mm case. The 38mm compatible strap is compatible with wrists ranging from 130mm to 180mm, so perfect for all female wrists and small male wrists. The strap compatible with the 42mm model is ideal for wrists ranging from 150mm to 200mm so comfortable with both female wrists of large circumference and all-male wrists.

The same goes for the classic link strap, compatible with both cases and available in two sizes. The model compatible with the 38mm case is compatible with all sizes, as is that for the model with the 42mm case, which also manages to cover larger than normal male wrists.

The Classic Buckle strap, compatible with both cases, is available in the 38mm model for wrists ranging from 125mm to 200mm, so for all female and male wrists, also compatible with female wrists smaller than normal. The strap for the 42mm case is also compatible with all female and male wrists, managing to cover even wrists larger than normal of the latter.

The last strap is the Sport Band, compatible with both cases and available for each case in two sizes. Let’s start with the 38mm case that has two straps, the first Small/Medium size that covers wrists from 130mm to 180mm and the second Medium/Large size that covers wrists from 150mm to 200mm, the first covers small-medium female wrists, while the second covers medium-large wrists of the same sex. The compatible straps for the 42mm case are available in the same sizes.

The Small/Medium size covers wrists from 140mm to 185mm and covers all-female and small male wrists, while the Medium/Large size covers wrists from 160mm to 210mm and manages to cover all male and large female wrists.

In the case of the latter strap, the sport band version, both sizes Small/Medium and Medium/Large are included in the package, thus making it compatible with all kinds of wrists.
